Narayani Trust is dedicated to fostering a healthy and prosperous Indian society. We believe that achieving economic upliftment and spreading goodwill are crucial to realizing this mission. While basic education is widely accessible today, it does not always meet the economic needs of individuals and their families. Barriers such as intellectual and financial constraints can further hinder access to education. To address these challenges, Narayani Trust is implementing programs aimed at enhancing economic stability and reinforcing social values within families.
Our organization is committed to the empowerment of women, but our goal extends beyond empowering women in isolation. We strive to create a harmonious social environment where women and men complement each other. To this end, Narayani Trust has launched a project called "Het!"
Adolescence is a pivotal period, marking the transition from childhood to adulthood. This phase, though delightful, can be fraught with confusion and misdirection. Proper guidance imbued with warmth (Het) during this time can pave the way for a promising future for both the individual and society. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by adolescent girls, Narayani Trust will initiate the "Het!" program for girls aged 10 to 16 in rural areas.
In rural communities, this period is often more challenging for girls than boys. While familial affection and guidance are generally available, integrating educational and technical support can yield significantly better outcomes. The "Het!" program will be conducted in every village, reaching approximately 300 villages in the Savli, Desar, Dabhoi, and Padra talukas. Through group meetings, street plays, and puppet shows, our volunteers will raise social awareness and promote the initiative. Participating girls will receive guidance from experts and sanitary kits.
